A Week's End Review of Noteworthy Links and Thoughts

Since it is Friday (yay!) and my mind is already racing ahead to weekend plans , I thought that rather than try to organize my thoughts, I'd share some interesting links that I came across this week that I thought would be worth passing on. I might be the only one, but I enjoy following a few different publications' weekly "round-up": Sojourners, the New York Times, and others; my husband likes Gizmodo's most interesting videos of the week every Friday. So here goes!

On the topic of social media and faith:

On new Colorado legislation regarding the ethnicity of baby dolls:

On any kind of veggie gardening you can imagine:

On faith and gardening:

On the rise of stay-at-home dads:

On free seeds as economic aid:

On a new study released by Harvard about long-term research on eating habits:

On new movements to overhaul teacher education programs:

A final thought for the day:
"The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches, but to reveal to him, his own." -Benjamin Disraeli

Enjoy the weekend!
